the key:E。这里的merges是不是和powers并列呢？这里之所以用unlike取代as+助动词，是不是一来因为这里表示与前一句相反的意思，二来, unlike atomic reactors that split them apart已经可以很清楚的表明atomic reactors是在和Nuclear fusion 做比较（因为后面跟有split them apart），就不用加出助动词了。这和我们惯常做的比较不太一样吧？这道题和下面一题好像正好是个对照。

这道题，以前nn们讨论过，认为选d的原因是为了明确是与前句的对比，同意。如果与后句对照，应该是as adults may还是as adults may do?（以前发贴问过了，但是找不到贴了，所以再问一句）
做到现在我已经有点晕了，居然连比较这种以前从来不错的语法点都闹不明白了
大家帮忙答疑解惑呀！！！

答案D，这里补的do跟前面的have一致
谢谢lizaz。不过这里就有一个问题了，如果as adults do也可以与后面一句比较的话，那么6选as adults do就达不到消除歧义的目的了。不过你的举的例子也正确，所以是不是可以认为因为后面一句有两个动词notice and remember，所以就不能用do来代替呢？

我觉得是可以用do来代替的。
这里不选A-like adults的原因是: 原文的比较不是把young children和adults在做比较，而是说 organize their attention or perceptions systematically就象adults做的那样，所以要用as adults do。
如果A对的话，你把顺序换一下，就变成了：like adults， young children do not organize their attention or perceptions systematically，我觉得逻辑意思上unlike才对。

我觉得是可以用do来代替的。
这一点我还是有异议的。用一个do来代替 notice and remember 两个动词很容易引起歧义呀，有三种可能：代替notice;代替remeber;代替notice and remember。

notice and remember如果作为一个整体来比较的话，我觉得是可以用do来代替的。如果只是比较其中的一个，那原句应该改写了，不会这样表达吧。
