国内管理类硕士在读，GPA：80分，GMAT 730+5，T 610，无工作经验，近半年发表4篇普通国际学术会议论文（ISTP收录），偏战略管理方向，都是empirical analysis，统计学还可以。

有硬伤，本科平均分非常低，只有73分。

研究生综合排名（GPA＋论文）全班第一（1/45）。

想去US读营销方向的PHD，申请美国排名50－100的学校有没有希望？

或者只能申请100以后的学校？

请各位大牛指点迷津！

我个人觉得你的GPA的确太低了，建议申请重心放在100以后的学校。或者可以申这边master拿个高GPA再图PHD

Too many applications for a certain track. Usually, 40-50 people compete for 1 or 2 slot. However, most of the applicants have Asian Pacific Background. As I strengthened in another response, what kind of "international conference" do you attend? Are they recognized by the faculties here in the States? What contributions do you make to the paper?

I don't know the the kind or the tpye of the conferences. Perhaps they could be marked as average, because the proceedings are only indexed by ISTP or ISSHP. I think most of them are not recognized by faculties in the US. However, papers presented on and published by the conferences were written by me under my mentor's direction. I am the first auther of these papers.

Could you give more suggestions? Thanks again.

That's fine. You can list them in your resume or indicate them in the personal statement. Everything depends on your hard work, try and luck.

Your gradaute GPA and research experience may help you to offest the effect of low undergrad GPA. I think you should try those 50-100. By the way, I don't think there are more than 100 schools that offer business PhD in the US.

i think your backgroud is ok. if your papers are related to strategic management, you should take a look at those schools with strong favor in managerial marketing, like psu.
