大全267的A选项中为什么用where 错了？我在A和E之间徘徊。决定不下，有大牛能帮忙解释一下吗？谢谢了。

A有三个错误：

首先，对于一个修饰对象的发生时间处于特定的情况，现在分词不如定语从句好；

其次，visit是及物动词，直接跟名词，所以where这个暗含in which的词只能被that所取代。

最后，A中had visited在时态上表达动作发生在旅行之前，明显是时态错误。

虽然lzm极力强调GMAT中which引导非限定定从而that引导限定定从，但我认为这个问题可能不这么简单(但事先强调，lzm的这个逻辑在考试中还是实用的，因为据我观察，OG虽没有过分强调这个问题，但是没有逗号的修饰物体的定从，除非是介词+which类型，否认一律用that来引导)；这道题如果D时态改正，其后部的where从句相比E还是有点累赘，但是D改后，应该算是一个正确表达，当然，我们可以从更为严格的角度看，那么that相比which或许更好一些，因为A的现分定语是一个限定性的定语结构。
