答案是A 没问题. 我选了 C
OG解释说, it 使用不恰当
问题: 是"it"指代不清楚吗(infrared radiation/eye)? 还是本来"it"多余?
如果用"too long for eye to register."如何?

我认为是多余。这里it知道infrared radiation没错，那么如果你把infrared radiation 代回则出现
infrared radiation is invisible because its wavelength is too long for the eye to register the infrared radiation.
感觉就象说the book is too difficult for you to read the book.
这里的register做eye的宾补。

不知道对不，大家继续讨论。

前半句 it指代眼睛，所以后面不宜出现it指代infrared radiation。

因为不能是波长被看见，你看B选的原句是 however, the wavelength of infrared radiation—0.1 millimeters—is too long to be registered by the eye making it invisible 这里不能是红外线的波长被看见而看见的只能是光。同理D选也是这样错的。

by the eye making it invisible..... that is too long for the eye to register, thus making it invisible....... it is too long for the eye to register and thus invisibleB,E,D is weird, so elinimate....
A is ok
C the word "it" is awkward

How about crushing this question from the perspective of the intended meaning? This sentence is trying to say that infrared radiation is invisible because its wavelength is too long to be registered by the eye, Not B,D,E...

So we go with A

我想請問一下如果照這樣說起來的話答案A的its也是要指眼睛嗎? 還是it跟its不用指一樣?

its指radiation，GMAT里面代词指代不清慎用，很多正确答案看起来也好像是指代不清的。代词里面明确是非黑即白的错误是代词的单复数。
