91. When a polygraph test is judged inconclusive, this is no reflection on the examinee. Rather, such a judgment means that the test has failed to show whether the examinee was truthful or untruthful. Nevertheless, employers will sometimes refuse to hire a job applicant because of an inconclusive polygraph test result.
Which of the following conclusions can most properly be drawn from the information above?
(A) Most examinees with inconclusive polygraph test results are in fact untruthful.
(B) Polygraph tests should not be used by employers in the consideration of job applicants.
(C) An inconclusive polygraph test result is sometimes unfairly held against the examinee.
(D) A polygraph test indicating that an examinee is untruthful can sometimes be mistaken.
(E) Some employers have refused to consider the results of polygraph tests when evaluating job applicants.
A polygraph test indicating that an examinee is untruthful, D假设 the test is untruthful, 而原逻辑为 such a judgment means that the test has failed to show whether the examinee was truthful or untruthful.
D的意思是: the test(indicating that an examinee is untruthful) can sometimes be mistaken. test 的谓语是 can 而不是is.

it says "... has FAILED to show whether...". and also in D it says "can SOMETIMES be mistaken".
i don't know why D is wrong neither. according to OG's explaination, the only time that D could be wrong is that the "conclusive" results also not reflect the examinee?

题干只说INCONCLUSIVE(即POSSIBLY TRUTHFUL OR UNTRUTHFUL).

读题时is judged inconclusively, this is no reflection on the examinee, Rather等我都不太明白什么意思,能否请你翻译一下题目?

When a polygraph test is judged inconclusinve, this is no reflection on the examinee. Rather, such a judgement means that the test has failed to show whether the examinee was truthful or untruthful. Nevertherless, employers will sometimes refuse to hire a job applicant because of an inconclusive polygraph test result.
(A) Most examinees with inconclusive polygraph test results are in fact untruthful.
(B) Polygraph tests should not be used by employers in the consideration of job applicants.
(C) An inconclusive polygraph test result is sometimes unfairly held against the examinee.正确。
(D) A polygraph test indicating that an examinee is untruthful can sometimes be mistaken.
(E) Some employers have refused to consider the results of polygraph tests when evaluating job applicants.

本来就是说这个测试结果不准确,那么文章说has failed to show whether the examinee was truthful or untruthful,

Must Be True
D:A polygraph test indicating that an examinee is untruthful
