一遇到这样的题就错，大家帮帮忙啊，给我讲讲，都什么时候用这两个词，有什么区别？比如可数不可数什么的？

Fewer than is used for sth countable
less than usually used for sth uncountable: time, number, etc.
less than a minute
less than a year
Less Than Perfect
Less than $20
less than 30 cents a day
less than 2%
Less Than Half of all Published Scientists Endorse Global Warming Theory
The extraordinary allocation of federal disaster relief, while less than local elected officials had petitioned.
Apparently Bear has been less than honest about past exploits as well...

Less than can be used in comparison of numbers, weight, money.
