正确答案e，我误选b。虽然我也觉得b怪怪的。主要是对这个counterpart不理解，刚刚查了m-v，可是还是不太理解。如果选e，那这个counterparts代替什么？movements吗?谢谢。

这是这道题的正确答案，我所不明白的是这里的there be句型是什么用法呀？在我的理解中there be句型就只有“某地有某物”的用法。谁能归纳一下gmat中there be句型有那些考点？谢谢。

counterpart: n. person or thing that corresponds to or has the same function as sb. or sth. else 既然counterpart可以指代sth，所以在这里counterparts就完全可以指代movements

而且B也不能用their,因为后面的movement是单数。

既然选了B，肯定是将counterpart认为是labor啦，labor代表劳动者，肯定是复数，所以就在前面用了their

嗯，这道题比较那个……

后面的movement应该和前面的movement 做比较比较一定要注意对称的

如果把counterpart理解为labor的话，那么their就指代American labor 这样就不对啦，their只能指代复数
