这道题我始终觉得E更好，如果说从语法上很难分辨A和E，我们从逻辑意思上来解释（当然A中的each of which are我认为是错误的）



1。我认为many spare parts teeth lie in the seemly limitless reserve这个事实是一直存在的，并不是说当active tooth is lost or worn down的时候它才这样排列



同时each ready to slide into这个状态，我认为不是when这个时候才是ready的，而是一直是ready的



whenever an active tooth is lost or lost down这个时间应该是修饰 slide into the appropriate position这个动作的



大家认为呢？如果是这样的话，A中when这样的修饰是有歧义的



2。active tooth和spare teeth是对等的概念，in the shark's jaws是修饰是同时修饰这两个事物的，所以in the shark's jaws放在句首比较好



3。each one ready to slide   each + adj的形式更简洁

each one + of 谓语动词一般用单数形式，因为of之后的复数名词不是主语而是介词of的宾语，of前面的才是主语， A错。而且A句子结构也有问题，“当鲨鱼牙齿掉了，它才有很多其他备用牙？” 很明显不对。
E对，ready是独立的形容词结构，且解决了A中when修饰对象不妥的问题。
支持E。
