最好给出全句，这样好理解，不过就字面，我认为意思是：
如果一个由8个连续奇整数组成的不断增值的序列中第7项为9，但是这句话从数学概念上讲是有问题的。所以我想这里的意思是第7项的增加值为9。

妹妹能给出全句吗？

Hi, i think donna's explanation is right(the first half, though), 9 is the 7th of the 8 consecutive odd numbers. "with increasing values" means the 2nd one is greater than the first one, 3rd one is greater than the 2nd one, ... and 9, which is the 7th number, is greater than the first 6 ones but smaller than the last one.

But you think that 9 is the 7th number of the 8 consecutive odd integers, which is whether is reasonable. For example, the numbers smaller than the 7th number have 6 numbers, but in fact have 1,3,5,7, only four numbers!
So this means is wrong in mathematics concept. Do you think?
