答案为E.这题我对答案有点摸不着头脑.请哪位大侠不吝赐教?

此题是有些怪怪。ABCD都可用代词排除，E好像又缺成分。

以前有一些讨论好像没有什么结果，我觉得是句子有些省略with far more supplies( for this campaign) than （supplies） for any previous campaign，但是than前面凭什么省略呢，难道是逻辑上知道是for this campaign所以就不用重复了，然而在than后面又必须加上去。

读多几遍后，发现确实如OG所言：This simple construction avoids the problems of pronoun agreement and verb tense；it is clear, correct，and concise．
