正确答案是A!肯定的!
请注意分析他们的句子结构,虽然A的WHICH的指代是有问题
但从逻辑上说A中,ELK前后两个分句都是同一个主语ELK
但B的话,THE FACT THAT....同位语.它的逻辑主语落在FACT这件事上了,而不是ELK这族人.
如果仅仅从WHICH指代上排除A,本来WHICH的就近指代也是我们自己总结出来的,所以我觉得是优选但不一定是错误.
从句子的前后对称来看,A比较好,我们有几个MEMBERS也一起讨论过这道题目的.

选B的你们提供一个解题的思路,难道不分析句子结构吗?
单纯从一点去否认一个选项,又不是早期的新东方思路.

"which" in A is really not used in a proper way. In the all SC Qs i have done, choices including "which" to refer to previous sentence are always wrong. I think ETS also mentions that in OG explanation

A的指代不是就近,  是指代前面整个句子, 这是绝对错的
如果不是其他问题,我觉得D的句子形式才是最好的, 不过看来也只有 B 没有什么硬伤了
