A survey of entrepreneurs who started companies last year shows that while virtually all did substantial preparatory research and planning, only half used that work to produce a formal business plan. Since, on average, the entrepreneurs without formal plans secured the capital they needed in half the time of those with plans, these survey results indicate that, in general, formal plans did not help the entrepreneurs who produced them to secure the capital they needed.

意思是虽然这些没有写formal business plan的人得到了captital，但其中很大部分是因为这些人有生意上的关系，不是business plan的原因。他因削弱

既然成功不是business plan的原因，而此题的结论是formal plans did NOT help the entrepreneurs who produced them to secure the capital they needed.也强调formal plans不能帮助企业家资金的筹集。那C选项是不是加强了结论了呢？

个人倾向于D答案。没有做formal plans 的entrepreneurs花费同样多的时间来做研究并且planning as the entrepreneurs who produced plans，这说明无论做没做formal plans ，formal plans 在某种程度上是可以帮助entrepreneurs筹集资金的，因此削弱了此题的结论

请NN们指教！

结论：

Cause:on average, the entrepreneurs without formal plans(NP) secured the capital they needed in half the time of those with plans(P),

Effect:in general, formal plans did not help the entrepreneurs who produced them to secure the capital they needed

也就是说，用“那些NP用了那些P找到他们所需资金所用的时间地一半的时间找到了自己所需的资金”这个事实推出了“作正式计划对于找到所需资金是没有帮助的”，就是说那些NP和P一样都找到了资金，而且NP还更快一些找到他们的资金。

C选项说NP是靠长期合作那个关系找到的资金。那么如没有这个关系，他们可能就找不到资金，而他们找不到资金的原因可能就是没有做正式的商业计划。也就是说正式的商业文书对找到资金可能是有帮助的。这个题结论的逻辑对立面是“正式计划对于找到资金可能有帮助”，所以该选项削弱了结论。

D选项中说NP和P用了一样的时间在preparatory research and planning上，意思是preparatory research and planning对于找到资金是有用的，而结论是在讲formal plans，因此该选项不正确。

B（作了正式文书但没拿到足够的钱，所以正式文书没有用）是加强。

A（两类企业家的公司第一年都获利）和C（做计划增强了对公司成功的信心）是无关选项。

这道题选C应该是没有问题的。非常典型的找他因来削弱结论.

A: NP比P找资金快 ----->

B: P做正式计划没用.

C:他因:找资金有别的路子. 既NP根本就不是和P在同一起跑线. 怎么能说P做计划书没用呢?
