我觉得是因为reversal用了复数
我有另外一个类似问题：限定性定语从句的先行词如果是虚词（比如peace）要用定冠词the嘛?我查书的时候发现既有不加，也有加的例子，所以很疑惑，还是说根本就是根据情况来定？
大全532中的定冠词是否使用是要根据意思来判断的,不能一概而论

the onset of...我觉得是习惯用法,表示...的开始
2楼的例子从意思上判断都是泛指,所以都用不定冠词
