Research during the past several decades on the nature of language and the processes that produce and make it understandable has revealed great complexity instead of underlying simplicity.

(A) that produce and make it understandable has revealed great complexity instead of underlying simplicity

(B) of producing and understanding it have revealed not underlying simplicity but great complexity

(D) by which it is produced and understood have revealed great complexity rather than underlying simplicity

(E) by which one produces and understands it have revealed great complexity instead of underlying simplicity

请问这题为什么选A啊?不是说instead of 不好吗

我的意见是:

instead of 相对于 rather than来说是不是很好(但是两种用法都没有错误)

如果选项中没有rather than,instead of 的用法也是对的

不好不代表不对

选A 是因为:

1,主句主语是research, 单数,谓语动词要用has ,排除B,D,E

2,processes that produce and make it understandable

processes by which it is produced and understood

你可以比较,这是定语从句,应该上面的比下面的好.

赞成楼上说法，在sc中错误分为绝对错误和相对错误。绝对错误不对的一定排除，如BDE谓语动词have错误。而对AC就要考虑相对错误了，A可以理解为the processes produce and make it understandable...produce和make是平行谓语，produce在这里与make是同意同用法的，字典上可以查到

而E只能理解为it is produced and understood by the processes...改变愿意，变成produced和understood平行了。

有分析错误还希望大家指正

好像rather than 严格要求对称，而instead of 不要求对称

Not ..but 不要求对称.

看到HAS 就只有AC了,

然后读C觉得比较生硬,就选A了,多培养读的感觉
