如果理解为对cars的赔偿，(a)中应该为test-driven cars with their odometers disconnected比较简洁，且damage to something的搭配比较合理；(b)(c)中的it, 不合理；(e)中have表示主动拥有cars, (d)中的固定搭配have something done, 合理

I think here 'disconnected odometers' is better than 'odometer disconnected', what do you guys think?

This sentence
an automobile manufacturer agreed to pay more than $16 million in civil damages for having test-driven cars with their odometers disconnected

should be derived from
...for cars with their odometers disconnected, cars which have been test-driven.

Am I right?

b中的搭配为pay for.故damage to 不能使用。
