标题: [求助]两道XDF阅读题，困惑ing:((
第一道：
PASSAGE 19（也就是说Virgin-soil epidemics对Native American影响的那篇）中的第4题：
Which of the following can be inferred from the passage concerning Spainish tribute records?
(C) They were being kept prior to the seventeenth century.
(E) They prove that certain diseases were unknown in the pre-Columbian New World.
后面给的答案是E，偶也认为是E；但好象XDF的老师说是C，我觉得有点牵强。

第二道：
PASSAGE 21（就是说小日本鬼子到加州Pajaro Valley当农民那篇）中的第4题：
Several Issei families join together to purchase a strawberry field and the necessary farming equipment. Such a situation best exemplifies which of the following, as it is described in the passage?
(B) A farming corporation
看到答案后，其他选项应该是可以排除的，但(B)也没办法在原文中找到语言重现啊！请问一下怎么可以确定B是正确答案？碰到这种在原文无法得出的答案应如何应对？

请各位XDJM不吝赐教！

第二道俺明白了！原来我的书上印漏了这一段：

我的是XDF黄皮分册，好像和你的不一样，找不到你说的PASSAGE 19（也就是说Virgin-soil epidemics对Native American影响的那篇）

hi, when i first read this passage, i made same mistake. after further think about the questuion and answer, i choose answer C. first, in context,the author give some detial: by analyses of spanish tribute records , it was known that epidemics had happened at that time. while, untill the 17th century, the documents of British and French revealed they did not have clearly idear about epidemics. by this time, epdemics had alreadly occured and been written in spanish records.
second, the answer E reveals that S.P. records can prove something....., but acturally, the author suppose that diseases unknown in pre_columbian new world is an evidence to indicate virgin-soil epidemics.

还是不明白啊！

原文只说一直到17世纪，the documents of British and French 仍然没有关于epidemics的记录，但仅从这一点好象并不能取非得出“ Spainish tribute records were being kept prior to the seventeenth century”的结论吧？

希望5楼的兄弟能把思路说得更加详细一点。谢谢啦！

这题我选c，因为觉得例子主要不是在第二段举的…答案是b
