第一条SC：GWD原题，一模一样，做过无数次了：

Plants are more efficient at acquiring carbon than are fungi, in the form of carbon dioxide, and converting it to energy-rich sugars.

A.      Plants are more efficient at acquiring carbon than are fungi

B.       Plants are more efficient at acquiring carbon than are fungi

  1. Plants are more efficient than fungi at acquiring carbon

  2. Plants, more efficient than fungi at acquiring carbon
  3. Plants acquire carbon more efficiently than fungi

The answer is C,

But I think fungi is parallel to Plants, should add "are"  as Fungi are ... at acquiring carbon,

so should be A or B.  DO not see what differenece between A and B though.

Any ideas? Please ......
