second highest price ever paid for a painting at auction.

(A) Rhone sold for $20.2 million and it was

        对OG的答案没有疑义，但对于OG中的一段解释不是很明白。

.....Finally, to be idiomatic, the verb should be in the passive voice, not the
active voice: the painting was sold for
a certain amount.



        问题：什么时候sell应该用被动？什么时候可以用主动语态？

        好像在那个帖子中看到说sell可以用主动语态表示被动，但OG中为什么这么说呢？

sell的主动表被动，是在sell well的时候；如果是卖多少钱，用be sold.
