标题: 关于PhD的学习年限
想请教大家，我想申请香港或者新加坡的学校,在大学网站上看到他们说full time PhD学习年限是二到五年,或三到六年,那么不同人的学习年限长短会不一样吧.一般香港或新加坡的PhD几年毕业啊？如果是以coursework master 背景去读的话,一般会被要求读几年啊? 读的年限是在录取时就规定好的吗？很迷惑的说,请了解的NN予以解答,谢谢!

Different people graduate at different times. Some students cannot graduate after spending seven years. On average, HKUST requires 5 years while CUHK requires 3 years.

谢谢楼上的回答,请问那是不是在录取是就跟导师大致谈好读的年限啊,还是去了完全听老师安排呢?

No need to discuss. The university decides this that will be shown in your enrollment form. Of course, this number of years is based on normal situation. There are some extension cases.
