(A) as little risk as one in a million chances to cause

(B) as little risk as one chance in a million of causing

(D) a risk as little as one chance in a million for causing

(E) a risk as little as one chance in a million for it to cause

WHY NOT A....

而且 as little risk as 和 a risk as little as 有什么区别么...

==》1） risk of sth. 结构比较好；而且 A 中的one 没有指代对象。

==》2） as little risk as 和 a risk as little as 我个人觉得这两种比较形式都可以。

但是这里请注意：on toxic substances that present 主语是复数形式， substances present a risk 合理么？

==》3）simultaneously while doing 都有表示同时发生的含义，我觉得算重复。

看到别的版本中解释说A中的one指代的是risk

且说of doing 和 to do修饰的是chance 不是risk

好糊涂啊~~~ 究竟是risk of doing还是chance of doing?

I picked B when I did it yesterday...
"to" is *usually* used for showing a purpose.
Anyway, probably others will have a more insightful explanation.
