我的答案是B,不知道它C里面的as compared to怎么回事,而且整道题里好几处疑问:
1：earn金山词霸里根本就没有名词用法----当然各个选项都是earn,就不追究了；
2：compared to不是把……比作……吗？这里的意思好象应该是“和……比较吧”----当然各个选项都是用这个就不追究了；
3：B选项的a ration引导一个句末同位语从句不对么？干吗要选C呢？
Hamiton:看了讨论帖了，知道了B有个致命的错误,,,茅塞顿开~~compared to大概只能用被动形式的,可是有一点还是不明白,as compared to 42 times their pay,这到底怎么翻译? as如果后面省略了it is,那这个it is 又指代谁呢? their又指代谁呢?我当时选B的时候就是因为觉得C里面their根本就说不清是谁.
