(D) prevalent enough that it was said a squirrel could

(E) prevalent enough for a squirrel to be said to be able to

我选了B,,,虽然当时觉得A也挺达意的,但是发现A中"it was said"后面直接加句子了,,,这个应该也算宾语从句吧,,,我觉得它后面不应该把that省掉啊~~~~~~请NN指点!

这是SO THAT句型,不是宾语从句

不好意思,我搞错了,我看错了一个部分,那不是宾语从句,是一个主语从句.IT代替的是a squirrel could jump from tree to tree without once touching the ground between New York State and Georgia.因为这个句子作主语太长了,由于表达的需要,就把它放后面,这里就用了一个主语从句.

谢谢!可是我还想再问清楚一些,那么这个主语从句中的"that"是可以被省略的是么?

宾语从句中THAT是一定要加上的.

哥哥,,,我问的是"主"语从句中的that啊~~~~~~~~~~

就是说,,,我以前说话的时候常说"It is said that..."可是这个句子中没有了that了,我觉得一下子没了引导词的感觉下面的话说不下去了,,,可是答案又是这个,那么能否说明这个"主"语从句的that也可以省略的呢?

我也觉得这个有点奇怪，但这个是形式主语，可能形式主语里面的that可以省略
