请问正确答案A中的might actually放在一起是否有矛盾,可以这么用吗?

从全句意思看，应是划线句子和后面的句子相对应，而不应是polio vaccine 和mass dietary change对比，所以b错
a中might 表一种可能性，没问题

fdkbaby, 在作对比的时候, ETS倾向于用as或者like句型. 我查了一下字典, similar的解释虽然又"类似的", 但在用法上面有(1)A is similar to B (2) be similar (3) similar + 名词, 就是没有提前作对比的用法. 而且,Marriam Webster字典上对similar 的解释是alike而没有like, 所以在这种题型中, like 和similar to 不可以互换.

恩，SC中的比较中从来不用similar，而且，经常将similar to 放在句首，必错
