请问各位如果我这样的排除A的思路是否正确：
A中were suffering from dwindling...用的过去进行时，但是原句中的时间between 1989 and 1996并没有明显提示应该用过去进行时~~~
并且possibly resulting from...中result from应该是被动的，即如果涌动此表达的话，应该是possibly resulted from...
望得到NN指点~~~
还是要理解一下意思：
creatures of the seabed were suffering from 后面是什么？是 food supplies 吗？还是 food supplies 变得dwindling？
