The contractor and the engineer agree on the cause of the bridge failure, but both blame the other.

A. both blame the other

B. each blames the other

C. each blame the other person

D. both are blaming the other

E. each blames one another

手上有两份答案，一份选A，一份选B，个人倾向于选B，请教大牛指点，不胜感谢。

应该是B

A选项应该改成both blame each other

可是我记得prep里面有一题是说the other不能单独用，必须要前面有 one 后面才能用the other，所以我选了e，这里为什么又能用了呢？
