为什么选C不是A

A说这5个国家都是side with the colonists during the American Revolution

C说oneida是5个国家中唯一的一个side with the colonists during the American Revolution

意思不同，C的意思正确

我觉得A有only这个词也是说是惟一的啊

还有这个alone的用法，没见过这么用的

a:who cannot mean league

b:alone of is not correct express

so only c is the right one.

想请教一下E:ONLY OF THE....解释说原因同A即逻辑不正确，但是我想问的是ONLY在这里是什么词性？我查字典ONLY不能做名词吧。。。。有only of 这种用法吗？

另外请解释一下alone的用法。比如alone of ，alone among。。。。

..恩我非NN，但是我好像看到一种解释是

1）这个Oneida是个集合名词，所以要跟were..

2）因为the five-nation Iroquois League 这个是一个league，注意five-nation ，好像是说五个组成的一个团体，它本身是单数，所以无法再用only one of 来修饰它。

不知道你觉得这种解释合理否。。

为什么选C不是A

如果没有告诉我oneida是复数，我是怎么也看不出这道题改选C的...怎么看都觉得C怪怪的

恩。。关于集合名词单复数的问题。。确实很纠结。。the+朝代，家族，部落等谓语用复数。

(A) was the only one of the five-nation Iroquois League who sided （主谓不一致）

(B) was alone of the five-nation Iroquois League when they sided （主谓不一致）AB主语都是单数League，所以不能用only，alone）

(D) were the only ones out of the five nations of the Iroquois League in siding

(E) only of the five-nation Iroquois League had sided（ONLY不能指单数中的。。）

感觉二楼恰好说反了。正是因为who就是指代the five-nation Iroquois League，所以意思才不对。lz仔细看原题想表达的意思。

我这个也错了，我从逻辑的问题吧思路上分析一下这个吧

修饰greatly influenced by...，那么就应该是主语发生的变化，收到影响O是。。。。不符合逻辑，收到影响O发生了改变====就应该是 the O如何如何了。即使是想表达那个意思也应该是用the O become... 而不应该是 the O be，那么从这个角度来说，成为 the O 的宾语的最好的词汇就是side

那么就剩下CE两个了，E的时态不好。所以综上，选择C

从逻辑的角度考虑似乎更容易解释
