答案是A，我觉得选E，理由有三，Eas...as...even as平行，名词>Ving，且好像as>to be?请NN赐教。

你死扣我也没办法了...煤气能烧饭是因为煤气燃烧产生的热能能使饭熟还是你煤气放出来就能烧饭了,难道Gas hydrate能导致sea floor instability?用吹的?

Anyway, in your understanding as "sea floor instability和gloabal warming是huge reservoirs of energy导致的,而不是Gas hydrate导致的", A should be wirtten as the following:

"to be huge reservoirs of energy ,possibly causing sea floor instability and gloabal warming" rather than the original sentence: "significant contribitors to gloabal warming"

我认为gloabal warming是由Gas hydrate直接导致的...就像二氧化碳的排放导致gloabal warming而不是二氧化碳的能量导致gloabal warming,这个and并非连接energy的同谓语,their potential to be significant contribitors to gloabal warming.

- parallelism structure between huge reservoirs and significant contribitors

- huge reservation energy causes sea floor instability
