and 前后都是be，第二个省略+ or else 连词，否则的含义

这道题目的争议在B和C上。

C的问题是前面少了is, B是were it to do so 这个结构比较怪异，也有NN认为是虚拟语气的。

我曾经用google 搜过，原文和C比较接近。

我觉得C的那个is完全可以省略，关键是or else得用法是否正确
