(E) is little changed from the way it was

why A and E are wrong?

这里用被动语态显然不合适。

我知道 " status changelittle" 可以这么说
但是从题的形式上看好像只能这么说，因为原句是被动，根据保持原意的原则，答案最好用被动。
所以说，好像 status is (was) changed这种说法本身就不对
为此：我希望问牛牛们能否确认， status 只能用主动，不能用被动？

我觉得此处不选A,E是因为little作为状语的位置应该在changed之后，而且C也更为简洁。

各位大侠, 这道题如果选C的话, 跟后面的in the last century的时态不搭配呀. 所以, 为了要跟后面的这个时间状语搭配, 我选了D. 因为必须要用change little, 这里只有C和D了. 请大家指点!

我觉得A，E的from how it was和from the way it was显得非常累赘，读来拗口
   意思上，妇女的地位在上个世纪变化不大。也很顺
  如果是A，E：妇女的地位从上个世纪的（那种状态/那种方式）小小的被变化，读的实在难过

   D也是一样，读的很难受

   我觉得C读的最好

其实我也觉得C读起来很顺,可是不能把in the last century这么明显的时间状语当成不存在, 所以总觉得C应该用一般过去时就好了.

C和D的意思其实是一样的，C明显要简洁的多。

last 此处意思为"最近的"而不是"上一个",否则就不必用the.不知道这样解释对不对,请各位批评,愚者千虑,必有一得.哎,我是个连650都没信心的人咯.

last此处意思为"最近的"而不是"上一个",否则就不必用the，因此要用现在完成时。
