why not c? many thx !

(C) are geared to enhance
                athletes' performance and their preparation  ==》造成歧义，enhance their preparation.

关于B还有两个问题：

第一个有点低级，The Sports Medicine Programs of the Olympic Training Center，这个词组的核心词尽管用了复数，但是考虑到全部大写，我就理解成专有名词作为一个整体来看了，结果谓语动词选了单数。这种想法是不是绝对错误的呢？是不是无论是否专有名词，只要核心词是可数名词复数，谓语动词一律用复数？

第二个问题是，B如果谓语用了复数，是不是就正确了

不要想那么复杂，基本上有s就复数没有就单数，当然特殊的单复数形式除外

C的错误：1、gear stn to/ toward sth,而不是to do。2、enhance performace and preparation，提高表现没问题，但提高准备似乎就不对了。且原文的意思也是调节 stn以致提高表现并且准备……

是 the Olympic Training Center 的同位语，不是 programs 同位语，
根据 Longman
be geared to do sth. 用法是对的。

be geared to do sth. 用法是对的，而且用了两个不定式表目的也很对啊。
单从主语排除似乎有争议吧。

我对这道题的正确答案也有点疑问：

(E) 正确, are geared toward enhancing…and preparing结构平行且符合习惯用法

为什么不是are geared toward enhancing... and toward preparing呢？

关于这题有疑问，C中are geared to enhance athletes' performance and their preparation enhance athletes' performance and enhance their preparation为啥错啊，their指代athletes；比较E中are geared toward enhancing the performance of athletes and preparing them 最后的them虽然也是指代athletes但是这个是在performance of athletes中的，也就是说athletes是修饰成分，而代词指代应该优先指代核心词，所以我感觉C会比E好。
这个观点有错么？
