我这样译的：the promotor demonstrates the quality of rice cooker that is excellent

有人告诉我这样：the promotor demonstrates that the rice cooker is of excellent quality

请教谁是对的？或者有更好的。谢谢！

你译错了

你的句子翻译过来是这样的：促销员示范了质量很好的电饭锅。

说明电饭锅的质量是本身就很好，而不是促销员示范出来的。不知道这样解释你能否理解～

你为什么不这么翻译?

the promotor demonstrates that the quality of rice cooker is excellent.

the promotor demonstrates the quality of rice cooker that is excellent 你这句中比较容易产生歧义：1.that is excellent修饰cooker,2.that is excellent修饰quality. In addition,"that be adj."是ETS最不推荐的修饰方式之一。

the promotor demonstrates that the rice cooker is of excellent quality 这句话没错

类似于important=be of importance.
