A，because of表达不如because简洁，analyst后面的时态不佳

B，with修饰作用和analysts不匹配 continue一般不用进行时，或者分词形式

C is the best

D，due to表示原因不如because，analyst后面时态不佳

E，due to表示原因不如because，will与前面predicted不匹配

OG里面有两题是predict，后面都是that引导从句，并用will

注意这里前面时predicted，所以后面用了would

C、D，if从句时态不正确

结构：X will happen if Y happens，注意两者要时态统一，要么都是现在时态，要么都是过去时态。

本段话的时态处理很有意思：一共出现了四种时态，过去完成时，一般过去时，一般将来时，一般现在时。

26.Only if 本来就是连词，无需再加but, 排除A,B

D用的是过去进行，没有道理，不选，剩下C.E, C用的是被动，E是主动，当然主动优先啦。

only if表示条件，不需用虚拟。

40题答案是A吗，我这儿的答案是C啊，楼主用的是哪版啊？？

我认为40题是选D.

1.and后面的句子应该与前句平行,所以时态必须是完成时;

2.predict从句虚拟语态,后面应该接would并省略.

不知道这样分析对不对.

- and的前後並列不要求時態一致, 可是因為and並列的關係, 從has raised可看出這個句子寫時是在當時的"現在時", 所以那個target是will be raised不會would be raised.
- predict從句不要求subjunctive mood

due to只能作表语 sth. is due to some reason

印象中 due to放在句首的从来都不是正确答案

40题当中predicted for weeks 这种表达合理吗？for 一段时间的话是不是只能对应完成时啊，一个短暂动词可以+for+一段时间吗？请教NN回答！
