I think that D is better ,but the answer is A,

What everyone is is not parallel with the he said…

Why the answer is B?? I think C may be better

D的逻辑错误很严重，have to是指人主观不得不做什么事情，schedual是不会have to的

同样avoid也是，是主观的词，Gmat中keep from优于avoid，在这里chalice也不能主动去avoid什么东西
