我的理解是这个样的，句意的理解， in better sound than was ever before possible，前面说一样伟大，后面说更好。不妥。

我觉得在于后面的has been

如果是一样伟大，完成时不妥；而持续到现在没有更伟大的比较合适

was.. has been时态不一致,我觉得应该说has been..has been,因为都说的是一个东西,在time frame上不因该有差别
