A是因为不平行,B2个THEY指代不清,C同B, D为啥错呢?

1。the brain growth in mice when (growth is) placed in a stimulating environment or the increase in canaries' neurons when they (指代neurons) learn new songs
指代还是有问题，意思错的

2。BC也逻辑含义不平行。神经形成对应的宾语应该是“长脑子”(brain growth)，而不是brain

另，个人觉得when placed, when learn...这种时间状语，暂不说语法问题，使句子逻辑含义上欠佳

D: they has no clear reference. Canaries or neurons? also not parellel. brain growth in mice <> increase in canaries' neurons.

brain growth = neurons increase
