果然答案是C。

it应该指代的就是condition。

我理解的中文意思是：condition有ill－health的意思。这里我翻成疾病。

医学检验（化验）有时候当疾病存在时不能检测到，而疾病不存在时却显示有。

换句话说就是假阳性和假阴性。
