我想请教各位，这一题我有点不明白为什么选C.
C是因为 one-quarter of the time they are in Palitito transporting passengers ，所以那3/4时间就是在idle at the curb吗？
那时也没有1/4时间transporting ,那3/4时间就一定是idle吗？说不定是parking呢？
我逻辑巨差，还是请NN帮忙解答一下啊

哪位能解释一下B错在哪里？我觉得B强调了exhaust是污染的主要原因，因此加强了结论。

要找的是“修建parking lot "到推断出”建筑物的损坏减少“
B的话没有清晰指出这个关系，所以是无关的。
c是说bus在建筑物逗留的时间里面，1/4是用来接送客人的，剩下的是用来Parking的
加强了结论

B承认了来自engine的污染，而题目的结论是来自engine的污染减小了。
所以B实际上并没有对这个“减小”有任何strengthen的作用
另外这道题在OG11综合里面有的，就是那本书中有一套测试题，里面有答案，找找就知道了

但是C选项很直接。文章中就说了这些车空转的时候产生的污染和开车时产生的一样坏（idling produces as much exhaust as driving）。那么现状是这些车只花了不到1/4的时间运人，3/4的时间空转。主要有停车场他们不空转了，就会减少至少3/4的污染
所以C很直接的加强argument

这道题我觉得应该是E啊。E是说有停车场之前找不到车位的车都是空转，那么有了车位以后这些车不空转了，就是很明确地加强。
有一种可能是出题者是要让大家理解成E是描述停车场修好以后还有车空转，所以是个削弱；但是无论是从时态还是逻辑来看都不能推出E描述的就是有了停车场之后的情况阿
有人可以解答不

可是题干里面为什么要说“The city has now provided parking that accommodates athird of the tour buses”，这个停车场“可以容纳1/3的旅游巴士”和“巴士之花所有时间的1/4用来运旅客”二者之间有什么关系么？
虽然我猜对了答案，但在这个1/3和1/4的关系上兜了半天想不出来，最后只能瞎蒙一下。

也就是说bus在idle的时间占了总时间的大部分
<加强了题干中的premise：idling produces as much exhaust as driving>
所以就选C
如果要更完整的意思来理解，
就是：idle的时间占了大部分，才说明减少idle才真的有利于减少exhaust,如果idle只占一点点的话，即使bus所有idle都没了，对最终减少exhuast的目的也不会带来什么影响
——我的一点点思路，多多指教^^

我也觉得E同样可以强调premise啊（如果E同C一样发生在建造停车场之前，那么drive around 也就是idle的时间多），有木有nn来解释下E选项啊~~~

我做的时候是对d不理解 刚在谷歌 搜出曼哈顿论坛上的解说 因为题干最后得出的结论是 so damage to Palitito's buildings FROM THE BUSES' EXHAUST will diminish significantly
也就是说不用考虑其他的大气污染了 把b也排除了。。。

C的支持方式：bus只有三种状态：1.idle，2.parking， 3.transporting passengers from one site to another. 3的时间少于25%，说明剩下的1+2大于75%，现在告诉2 的时间上升了，当然1的时间就下降了

C可以这么理解：bus在运输过程中的时间少于原来的25%， 运输过程=idle + 路上开车
现在的过程=idle + 路上开车< 25% ; 路上开车的时间不变，那么 idle < 25% ，所以设置parking是有效的，因为车去parking，而没有idle

类比推理
在马路边（污染）对比在停车场（污染）
结果：停车场减少污染
A：few automobile只是少数，那剩下的汽车怎样就不知道了
B:老建筑是否收到其他破坏跟类比无关
C：说了马路边和在停车场的不同，污染减少了。或者给污染减少了另外的解释。
D：无关
E：给了污染减少另外的解释，但是没有对比马路边和停车场。如果没有C就是正确的。

做diagnosis test过来的：
我理解B和D都在说一件事情：tour bus engine exhaust这个问题很严重（是主要污染源），可以理解为，题干中所说问题的前提。按照做题套路来说性质一样可以直接排除掉。
更完整理解：这两个选项没有直接address parking lot和pollution的问题，没有touch到题干中的“idle”，所以选最优解的话应该选C，因为它建立了更直接的关系。即，idle时间很长——建停车场——减少idle——减少pollution
而B和D的逻辑链是：逻辑链是tour bus engine exhaust造成污染很严重——建停车场——（少了一环逻辑）——减少pollution
