答案是A，我选了D。
题目说电台增加了但是radio没有增加，所以听众没有增加。问assumption。
我的思路是这里如果要weaken的话，可以说没有radio的人如果可以从有radio的人那里收听到RDS，比如在餐厅里听啊，电车里听啊，那结论就不存在了。所以作为assumption，只要把这个可能被weaken的点补上就可以了。所以我选C。对于A，我怎么觉得是无关选项呢？

前提： 94-96年，RDS radio Station(信号发出端)增加了，RDS feature(信号接收端)并没有增加，
结论： 能收听the special program的观众没有明显增加。
如果94年以前由于RDS radio Station(信号发出端)数量不够，覆盖面不广，导致很多RDS feature(信号接收端)不能受到信号，那么如果在94-96年扩充RDS radio Station(信号发出端)数量，使得大部分RDS feature可以接受到信号，尽管RDS feature数量没有增加，观众也会增加。这是原文中存在的逻辑gap。
正是将A去非的内容。
感觉D应该是一个Support 说没有RDS ferture的人都不能收到RDS radio Station发出的节目，正好支持了RDS feature没有增加，the special program听众就没有增加这个推理逻辑。

谢谢版主的答复，我理解的了为什么A是一个assumption。可是还是没有解决为什么D不是assumption，如果我们把D取非，那么得到的结果是，没有radio的人，也能收听到节目，那不就是weaken了原文的结论了吗？因为收听人数不一定和radio的数量一致。说不定94年一个radio cover 3个audience，96年cover 6个audience? 请指教
另外，我看过了，这道题目确实是07年五月份的JJ，好奇怪啊，什么时候考试的时候也会有prep的题目了？不过我会改一下题目的，两个题号并列，呵呵。

D是不是有点反前提啊，第一句说没RDS就接受不到，D取非就说没RDS能接受到。

而不在于以什么样的方式推出收听人数
个人觉得应该是A。
如果对A取非，就是说很多RDS station对以前不能覆盖的区域进行广播，那就是说增加的RDS station极大的提高了接受special program information 的Verdlanders。那题干中的结论就不能成立了。所以A是很关键的assumption.
同样，对C取非，要是配备RDS这样东西会减少收听区域，那么表示the number of Verdlanders receiving the special program information就更少了，因为新装的RDS Station会减低收听的区域，那么能收听到的人反而比以前更少了。对C取非反而加强了结论，所以C不对。然后，对D取非。没有RDS装置的人能够接受programming来自于RDS situation,可是这时无关选项，因为题目的结论是
the number of Verdlanders receiving the special program information probably did not increase significantly. 接受普通节目的人增加或者减少对结论没有任何影响，所以D也不对。
以上是个人的一些看法。
