这里acting as a global thermostat and thus keeping Earth，可能是-ING分词做定语就近修饰 solar radiation，而逻辑上应当修饰ice particles 。

比较了两种分词“夹心”的解释，我很奇怪，究竟这：-ing分词短语在句中，往前是就近修饰？还是修饰主语？
