这道题还是想不明白为什么是A

B as varied as are

C as varied as those of

D that are as varied as

E that are varied as are

觉得应该是C，因为是environmental and natural resource base of countries 与those of China, the Netherlands, and Hungary比较，应该是一样的。谁可以指点一下，谢谢

those指代不明,应该指代the environmental and natural resource base

可我就是觉得those应该指代the environmental and natural resource base，才要在China前面加上of those的。使environmental and natural resource base of countries 与those of China, the Netherlands, and Hungary对称

还是不明白，请指教

个人觉得平行的部分应该是countries 和China, the Netherlands, and Hungary

而且the environmental and natural resource base的中心词是resource base，应该是单数形式，不能和those对应。
