E是最好的答案，但是我对时态有疑问，前面是现在完成时，后面是过去式和过去完成时，是不是跨度太大了？

结构第一,其他结构有致命问题!根本没考虑到时态呢.就可以排除了.

本句时间结构是合理的

现在完成时表示过去的动作对现在的影响,跟过去时用在一起时间框架是一致的

后面是一个比较,是过去的情况跟过去的过去进行比较,因此用了过去完成时

请问(B)为何不选? 是脱节吗?
Through翻译成"透过..的方法" 主词一定要是科学家吗?
因为如果用中文想好像都讲的通..

另外(E) their感觉好像会指代scientists 因为科学家才是主词呀..
即使不指代scientists 也应该代替molars
怎么样也轮不到ancestors..
从来没看过
N1+介系词+N2 的结构下
后面的代名词可以代替N2的...
