不是一定要有the的，名词的平行，我觉得平行都要满足两点，

一，结构平行，二，意思平行

二者不分先后，必须同时满足

这个并列结构中 the upward thrust that threw one man straight into the air. 是从句修饰名词，前面是形容词修饰名词，这两个结构可以并列？

可以，结构上来说都是名词短语，怎么被修饰不用考虑

the strange electromagnetic signals detected hours before the temblor.不是句子么，为什么可以并列？

不是句子，detected作形容词修饰signals
