than前后的成分一定要平行一致.

此题比较的成分是句子,即前面是the patterns of stress
that girls experience
are likely to result in depression. 所以than后边对比的一定是有主谓语的句子.

当than后的主语(S)和前面一样时,用that/those代替;
当than后面的谓(V)和前面一样时,用相应时态助词代替.此题时态是are...所以不能用什么do,would之类的.

than后的句子结构用陈述句和倒装句都可.(不过题里倒装挺常见的.)
