标题: 我的GMAT經驗 GMAT 770

剛剛看到YY_lalala希望我寫點我的經驗那我家寫點吧。

基本上我第一次考其實有690~710的實力；可是我考前整個禮拜每天都失眠所以基本上是是迷迷糊糊的在考。

As a result, my AI essay was completely off topic on my first attempt and I didn't even notice it until I was writing my conclusion. Luckily, I didn't get 700 or 710 the first time around, otherwise I wouldn't have continue my GMAT and get 770 on my second attempt.

所以說一戰失敗不要放棄，要繼續努力：

Anyways, my study has been pretty similar to everyone else.

基本上我覺得KAPLAN的教材很差

I did not improve much from it. 即使GMAT800也沒什麼進步. Their strategy suck. There is really not much strategy to use, you just have to answer every questions to the best of your ability.,

SC was my worst section on verbal until I read GMAT語法改錯精簡 by 劉振民

It's the best SC book I've ever encoutered and it shot my SC accuracy rate from 75% to 90% on those GMATPrep SC questions.

so I highly recommend it if your weak spot is on SC.

Another material that I highly recommend is the online practice test on www.manhattangmat.com. It is not free, however.

Honestly I think they have the best practice test after GMATPREP and GWD. It's online test is much better than Kaplan and princeton review at measuring your true score.

Their Math section, however, is much harder than that of GMATPrep but it helped me bumped my Math from 49 to 51.

Their books are so so, so I wouldn't bother buying those.

我去了楼主推荐的那个网站去看，也注册了，可是看不到有提供在线测试的内容啊，请问怎么样才可以参加线上测试呢？

Online Test 不是免費的
You need to buy it with credit card
你註冊後要去他STORE -> ONLINE CONTENT 的部份然後買
滿貴的, about 40USD

But they have both adaptive and non-adaptive tests.
由於我人在美國買的時候都是用真實的personal資料
不方便跟大家SHARE我的ACCESS.

我建議你找幾個人跟你一起buy the access together and share
access to the practice test is good for a year
你用完還可以賣給下個人

反正 it's not required, just nice to have.
you don't really need it unless you are out of material to study with

responding an email:

It won't be as close to prep but its much closer than kaplan and princeton review.

To give you some perspective:
My first attempt was 660
My GmatPrep score was 660,690
My Kaplan score was 590, 580
My Manhattan Gmat score was 660, 690
-----
My second attempt was 770,
My GmatPrep score was 710, 730(after reinstall)
My Kaplan score was 620, 630
My Manhattan Gmat score was 730, 750

The 4 test I took on MGMAT were completely different tests.

The question can only be done online. It has a timer in the browser and it simulates the real test pretty well.

Also, their math problem is typically harder than real Gmat Math. I would give myself more time(> 75 min) by using the pause button.
I think their verbal are pretty similar to GMAT Prep, and their explanations are very clear.
