The contractor and the engineer agree on the cause of the bridge failure, but both blame the other.

2. each blames the other

我怎么觉得选a阿

这类题目记住单对单,双对双的原则

both是两个人the other是一个人 因此A错

同理D 也错

each... the other是固定搭配,因此B对

个人理解:主谓宾要一致.

blame是一个有指向的动词,就是说必然有人blame,有人被blamed.

A中

both,主语就是两个人了.宾语就无可指向了.the other?难不成有第三个人?

B就对了.

each,每次一个人,the other,each之外的另一个人.
