书上说：the chain of retail stores 的核心词是the chain ，表示单数概念.

但是我觉得代词的逻辑意思不合理。应该是the retail stores的supplier，而不是the chain的supplier阿。

of 这种东东，作为主语一般从前不从后，而且前半句都提示了To ensure consistently high quality in its merchandise

哦，我知道我错在哪了．把chain理解成供应链而不是作为商品的链条了．汗～
