C Algonquian-speaking should refer to people，not culture；wordy．

D Had been is an incorrect verb tense，suggesting that the Native Americans were no longer part of the culture；wordy and imprecise．

C与D选项比较仅仅是verb tense不同,然

而ETS的解释却有差异

大家有何看法?

Algonquian-speaking should refer to people，not culture

是属于imprecise这一类吗?

C D两项共同的错误：

1 wordy，residents当然是people，所以people who were三个单词犯了Wordy的错误。

2 修饰语位置不对（Rhetorical Construction）Algonquian-speaking 修饰的people，只有人才能speak a language。
