B：with修饰结构错误，通常用with修饰的都是错误答案的标志，that无指代

这道题我还是不懂。
根据我的理解，应该是SLB和all the North American Great Lakes combined去比较吧。我在网上搜索了相关新闻，得到了以下的句子：
1) 来源于world conservation union website
With almost 20% of the world's total freshwater reserve, Lake Baikal contains more water than all of North America's Great Lakes put together.
2)来源于Wikipedia
Lake Baikal has as much water as all of North America's Great Lakes combined — 23,600 km³, about one fifth of the total fresh water on the earth.
所以，我觉得E的逻辑意思是正确的，语法上的错误可能就是with sth doing sth不太好。而正确答案A的句子结构我不太理解，请NN解释

大概这样？我觉得从你举的例子看来都是用 LB的water和all the NAGL combined比较，
而且主要其他选项好像都有错：
B：第一个that指代？
C：句子结构乱得很，第二个it重复，
D：which指代错误
E：it指代？

关于同位结构是否可用more than结构？
附同位结构形式：
a.名词性同位结构，noun 解释 noun。
b.具体化同位结构，抽象名词（如principle，information，belief等）+ that从句，that从句是对抽象名词的具体化。G3－4
c.概括性同位结构，用一个概括性的名词去概括前面的解释对象（可能是noun，-ing形式，句子）。
d.名词重复型同位结构，如：…similarities between…and…，similarities that…。
e.代词代替型同位结构，如：a dramatic rise in…，one fueled by…。
F． noun＋， to what是同位结构noun1, a noun2 to what的省略形式，当noun1和noun2为相同名词时，后面的noun省略。
(E)将Baikal和北美5大湖直接进行比较,概念不对等, 应该是Baikal的水量和五大湖的水量进行比

关于比较对象问题，个人认为即使A项(A) More than 300 rivers drain into Siberia's Lake

显然像是more than all the North American Great Lakes combined做holds的比较从句做状语，但似乎逗号不应存在，如果是the water和all Lakes combined比较，显然也是不十分对称；假如是做主句的drain的状语比较从句，逻辑意思就不合理。
如果A项改为：

感觉就是最好地表达了想要表达的逻辑意思。

more than all the North American Great Lakes combined.
做“20 percent of the world's fresh water ”的同位语表示质疑。
可作同位语的词语有：（摘自薄冰高级语法）
1. 名词：Lee, the father , works at a factory.
2. 代词:She herself said so.
3 数词:They two went. We tree stayed behind.
4. 不定式与动名词：Their latest proposal, to concentrate on primary education has met with some opposition.（不定式做同位语）
The first man, attacking at night, was turned down.（动名词短语做同位语）
5. of短语： The city of Rome/The art of writing
6. 从句 The news that we are having a holiday tomorrow is not true.

It is not a appositive phrase but an absolute phrase.
"more than all the…作为20percent of the world’s fresh water的同位语,意思清晰,结构简单" is wrong, because appositive phrase is a noun modifier, but absolute phrase is an adverbal modifier.
From Ron:
neither “lake” nor “water” would be a legitimate referent for this modifier -- you couldn't say “the lake is more than all the North American Great Lakes combined”, but neither could you say “the water is more than all the North American Great Lakes combined”
this sentence will only make sense if the modifier is allowed to modify the preceding clause, which talks about holding water (because “holding more” actually makes sense).

E中比较对象错误之外，with的用法应该也是错的，with more than 300 rivers draining into it, draining into it作300 rivers的后置定语，去掉这部分之后句子主干就是S’ LB, with more than 300 rivers, holds 20 percent of the world's fresh water. with修饰前边的lake了，可本应表达的句意不是“和”的关系，句意错误

E中把最开始的more than...去掉之后，with是夹在S和V之间的，我认为这时with时修饰Subject lake的。如果是独立主格的话应该是放在main clause之前或者之后吧，不能插到main clause里

with 这里是个 noun - modifer.
RON: if "with ____" is modifying xxxxx, then it should be describing some aspect, or sub-component, of xxxxx.

2. E 错在句意上
Lake Baikal is more than all the North American Great Lakes combined
直译就是：Lake Baikal 大于 五大湖相加
不太清楚究竟在表达什么。所以是错的。

D. While more than 300 rivers drain into it, Siberia's Lake
Baikal holds 20 percent of the world's fresh water, which is more than all the North American Great Lakes combined. （这里的while 很奇怪 是在表示转折吗？感觉题目没有在表达转折的意思。并且后面的which 引导的定语从句 不能引导前面的整个句子，如果which 要做定语从句引导词的话 指代的只能是freshwater）
E. More than all the North American Great Lakes combined, Siberia's Lake
Baikal, with more than 300 rivers draining into it, holds 20 percent of the world's fresh water. （整个句子的主谓宾是西伯利亚湖holds 20 percent of the world's fresh water 感觉没有和原文强调的很符合 原文更有强调比美国的湖都多）
以上是我个人的见解哈 虽然A选项读起来不通顺 但是从构造句子和句意逻辑上来说比其他选项更优
