Some random numbers
Of the 359 registered INSEAD class of 2008
The Americans are No. 1 with 45 students or 12%
We are 42 Indians!!! - Almost 11%
France is No. 3 with 34 - 9%!
Canada - 23
Germany -20
Russia, China (12),UK, Belgium, Australia,Netherlands, Taiwan all stand at 10 students a piece
Even Portugal has almost 10 I think...
Pakistan with no loan support for its students comes in with 3 students
Africa all together garners around 10
Europe obviously leads in the continent race, Asia comes a close second
And we are approx. 57 nationalities...not bad for the diversity!

wow... so many indian... I guess the same thing also happened in US schools...
A lot of talented Indian (working in US,IT field) are waitlisted, very fierce competition...
It's R1&R2 admits statistics of Sep.07 intake.
I was once interviewed by an Indian banker and didn't get into the next round. Though he asked me a tricky maths question out of the blue and I struggled a bit to come out with the answer, it probably had more to do with my overall qualification & experience not quite fitting the job, and maybe, the fierce competition as well...
Just heard from another alumni from another top European school yesterday, the general impression of us Chinese applicants / MBA students is not outspoken.
Let's 取长补短、扬长避短
