标题: [讨论][求助]Vandy vs. GWU, JD
都没有奖学金。
已经交了Vandy的订金，才收到GWU的AD. 虽然Vandy的排名和统计数据看起来要好一些，但是GWU在DC啊。犹豫中～～
我有PhD in science,但是不想做IP.
大家的看法呢？谢谢啦。

嗯，谢谢大家帮我坚定信心，过两天就给GWU回复了。可怜我这么多年一直在农村，还要继续下放。要是可以从其他学校的WL转正，就可以去大城市了。不过都这点儿了，希望不大啊...

which area do you want to practice, if not IP? Do you plan to work in the south? I would vote for GW just because you may very well change your thoughts and find IP is better suited for you after a semester in law school. You might want to give it more thoughts before withdrawing.

agree. u will benefit from IP when u r hunting for job. GW is very strong for IP definitely

the bottom line is that Ph.D + JD from either school is enough to launch a decent IP law job, while Vandy may have appreciable advantage in overall placement

别呀。既然有DC的学校，就别下放自己了。还是去DC吧。

BTW， Nashville好象乡村音乐挺有名的。Vandy有个有名的校友： Al Gore。

选GW就是因为城市,看楼主认为哪方面更重要,地点还是排名
